CDL Pro (“App”) is provided by Michael Scott. This Privacy Policy explains what information may be collected, how it is used, and the choices you have when using the App.

CDL Pro is designed to help users study for commercial driver’s license permit tests, including CDL General Knowledge, Air Brakes, Combination Vehicles, endorsements, state-specific rules, flashcards, practice tests, and timed exams.

Information We Collect

The App may collect or store the following types of information:

• Study progress: Practice question results, missed questions, completed tests, flashcard progress, weak-area data, scores, and timed exam history.
• App usage data: Basic information about how features are used, such as completed practice sessions, screen interactions, and app performance.
• Purchase and subscription data: Subscription status, product identifiers, renewal status, and entitlement access. Payments are processed by Apple, Google Play, and/or RevenueCat. We do not collect or store your full payment card information.
• Device and diagnostics data: Crash reports, performance data, app version, device type, operating system version, and similar technical information used to improve reliability.
• Optional account information: If account features are added or enabled, we may collect information such as your email address or user ID to sync progress or manage access.
• Support information: If you contact us, we may receive your email address and any information you choose to include in your message.

How We Use Information

We use information to:

• Provide CDL practice tests, flashcards, explanations, timed exams, and study tools.
• Track your progress and help personalize your review.
• Show weak areas and missed-question practice.
• Manage premium access and subscription status.
• Improve app performance, fix bugs, and prevent crashes.
• Respond to support requests.
• Understand which features are useful so we can improve the App.

Local Storage

Some study data may be stored locally on your device. This can include progress, scores, missed questions, flashcard activity, and exam history. If you delete the App, locally stored data may also be deleted unless backup, restore, or account sync features are available and enabled.

Subscriptions and Payments

CDL Pro may offer paid subscriptions or premium features. Purchases are handled through Apple App Store, Google Play, and/or RevenueCat. These services may process information needed to complete purchases, validate subscriptions, manage renewals, and restore purchases.

We do not receive or store your full credit card number or payment credentials.

Analytics and Diagnostics

The App may use analytics and diagnostic tools to understand app performance, detect crashes, and improve the user experience. This data is generally used in an aggregated or non-personally identifying way whenever possible.

Third-Party Services

CDL Pro may use trusted third-party services to operate the App, process subscriptions, monitor crashes, and improve performance. These may include:

• Apple App Store
• Google Play
• RevenueCat
• Analytics or crash reporting providers
• Hosting, database, or infrastructure providers if online features are enabled

These services may collect information according to their own privacy policies.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We only share information when necessary to operate the App, process purchases, provide support, comply with legal obligations, or protect the security and reliability of the App.

Children’s Privacy

CDL Pro is intended for users preparing for CDL-related exams and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

Your Choices

You may be able to control certain data through your device settings, app settings, or platform account settings. You can also:

• Delete the App to remove locally stored app data from your device.
• Manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple App Store or Google Play account.
• Contact us with privacy-related questions or requests.

Data Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect information associated with the App. However, no method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If changes are made, the updated policy will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy.
